But the only one so far proven to smooth wrinkles and fade spots is tretinoin, a cousin of vitamin A marketed under the trade name Retin-A, says Dr. Barbara Gilchrest, chairman of dermatology at Boston University School of Medicine.
The product contains tretinoin, the same active ingredient that is in Retin-A. Ortho presented clinical data based on tests of more than 650 patients.
