- 塔克拉玛干沙漠石中国面积最大、空气最干燥、海拔最高的沙漠,坐落于塔里木盆地,位处天山以北,昆仑山以南的中间。
The Taklimakan is the largest, driest and highest desert in China, filling the Tarim basin between the Tien Shan mountains to the north and Kunlun mountains to the south. - 从地质学角度上说,新疆大部分地区还是相当年轻的,是印度板块和亚欧大陆板块碰撞形成的,碰撞形成了天山、昆仑山和帕米尔山脉。
Most of Xinjiang is young geologically , having been formed from the collision of the Indian plate with the Eurasian plate, forming the Tian Shan, Kunlun Shan, and Pamir mountain ranges. - 而分布于昆仑山北坡的亚沙土与黄土正是由塔里木盆地内部地面盛行的西北和东北风吹蚀沙区沉积物,经风力长期搬运分选形成的。
Therefore, the sub-sandy loess and loess on north slope of Kunlun Mt. and Altun Mt. were wind- eroded deposits transported by northwest wind and northeast wind from the interior of the basin.
