Fayerman, as the much-married killer nurse Fay McMahon, still overdoes the busy gestures, but here she adopts the right basic suavity.
But Sidhom gives a wonderfully subtle characterisation, sung and acted with great suavity and intelligence, and only lacking a final ounce of vocal weight.
