Through comparing the tectonic sequences stratum of Triassic-Paleogene period in the east of Hubei, in Jingmen-Dangyang basin, in Zigui basin and in the northeast of Sichuan, on the southern margin of the eastern Qinling and Dabie orogenic belt, three main tectonic sequences are divided. - 藏南特提斯域内伸展运动和伸展作用非常普遍，根据构造变形分析和伸展不整合、沉积岩相、古地理再造及岩相对比方法，对藏南海西期以来的伸展构造进行了较为系统的厘定，确定了海西期、印支期、早燕山期的主动伸展运动和晚燕山期和喜山期的被动伸展作用，并对这些运动特征进行了探讨。
Extensional movement and extending action are well-developed in the Tibetan-Tethys domain.Based on the analysis of tectonic deformation,extensional unconformity,sedimentary facies and paleogeographical rebuilding of southern Tibet,it is recognized that the extensional movement consists of active extension of Hercynian,Indo-Chinese and Early Yanshan epochs,and passive extension of the Himalayan epoch.Some of the characters of extensional movement and extending action are discussed in this paper.
