({Raphanus sativus}); also, the whole plant.

{Radish fly} (Zo["o]l.), a small two-winged fly ({Anthomyia
raphani}) whose larv[ae] burrow in radishes. It resembles
the onion fly.

having a long, slender pod, which is sometimes eaten.
